Which hazardous wastes are covered under the federal universal waste program in 40 CFR Part 273?

The federal universal waste program currently includes four types of hazardous wastes: batteries, pesticides, mercury thermostats, and lamps. In addition, authorized states may include additional wastes in their state universal waste programs.
